ITS (UK) Inclusive Mobility Interest Group meeting

ITS UK Logo ITS UNITED KINGDOM, the UK association for the promotion of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), is a not-for-profit public/private sector association financed by members' subscriptions, and provides a forum for all organisations concerned with ITS. They work to bring the benefits that ITS can offer in terms of economic efficiency, transport safety, and environmental benefits. The Inclusive Mobility Interest Group (IMIG) enables ITS professionals, researchers, implementers and suppliers to work with disabled and older people and their representative bodies to:
  • Facilitate understanding and cooperation;
  • Publicise the latest developments in ITS both to IMIG members and to outside parties;
  • Raise awareness of the needs of disabled and older people in the design, development and deployment of ITS; and
  • To undertake research which explores the ways in which ITS can reflect the needs of the disabled traveller.
